General description

This exhaust was manufactured with an end cap, a lightweight titanium muffler/silencer bracket and an muffler/silencer outer sleeve, while stainless steel was used for the link pipe and the muffler/silencer’s internal structure. The exhaust also features a carbon fibre heat shield on the link pipe to protect the rider and equipment.

Through a specially developed profile, the muffler/silencer’s surface has been further strengthened, which ensures improved durability and a sporty look – as seen on rally-raid motorcycles. By using race-proven materials, the weight has been reduced by 47.4% (2.4 kg) compared to the standard exhaust system. The exhaust produces a deep and sporty sound from the 799 cc engine. Tests on Akrapovič's in-house dyno measured power, performance increases of +0.7 kW (+1.0 HP) at 3,500 rpm and +2.4 Nm at 3,500 rpm in torque compared to the stock system.

Thanks to the plug-and-play installation, no remapping is required. The exhaust is EC/ECE type-approved and Euro 5+-compliant. It is compatible with standard panniers and features an Akrapovič logo sticker on the muffler/silencer.
