This new muffler/silencer design has been developed with a specially profiled surface to achieve durability and a sporty look, as known from rally-raid motorcycles. It consists of a link pipe and an inner muffler/silencer structure made of stainless steel, and is finished with a high-quality end cap, a attachment, bracket and a titanium outer sleeve, as well as an Akrapovič logo sticker to complete the look.The focus during development was on aesthetics, sound experience, weight reduction, and achieving the best possible throttle response. It weighs 33.1% (1.2 kg) less than the standard exhaust, and tests on the in-house dynamometer showed an increase in power, performance of 0.7 kW (1.0 HP) at 8,100 rpm and 1.5 Nm at 4,400 rpm in power, performance and torque compared to a CFMOTO 450MT with a standard exhaust.
The exhaust system delivers a deep and sporty sound and meets the requirements of EC/ECE type approval (Euro 5+). Thanks to simple plug-and-play installation, no remapping is required.
