General description
This system is the first step in exhaust tuning. It uses race-proven materials, increases power, performance and meets Euro5 EC/ECE type approval. Handcrafted carbon fibre muffler/silencer outer sleeve, end cap and heat shield - to cover the exhaust valve in the link pipe - with a high-quality stainless steel internal structure and link pipe. Compared to the stock system, weight is reduced by 2.5 kg and power, performance is increased by 1.4 kW (1.9 hp) at 9,000 rpm and torque by 1.7 Nm at 7,500 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič dyno and compared to a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R with a stock system. The exhaust system is a simple plug-and-play system requiring no remapping, producing a deep and lively sound.As options, a carbon fibre muffler/silencer bracket and a link pipe are available for further power, performance increase and for use on closed tracks and race circuits.
Additional installation note: This product was developed and tested for EU vehicle specifications. For non-EU vehicles, installation and power, performance may vary depending on market and vehicle specifications.
Fitting the optional link pipe will invalidate the EC/ECE certificate for the Slip-On Line (Carbon).
FITMENT-NOTE: This exhaust is a suitable spare part for Kawasaki stock exhaust systems of model year 2024 or newer with E1 KHI K 729 approval mark.
