This sporty-looking exhaust is crafted from race-proven materials and features a hand-crafted outer sleeve, end cap, and muffler/silencer bracket made from carbon, combined with a high-grade muffler/silencer construction and a stainless steel link pipe. It is equipped with a carbon heat shield for rider clothing protection.The hexagonal carbon muffler/silencer gives the motorcycle a distinctive touch and emphasises the exhaust's deep, sporty sound.
Lightweight materials provide a weight saving of 51.2% (2.6 kg) compared to the standard exhaust, while power, performance and torque are increased by 0.8 kW (1.1 hp) at 9,200 rpm and by 0.8 Nm at 5,100 rpm, compared to a Z1100 equipped with a standard exhaust and tested on Akrapovič's in-house dyno.
This product is fully EC/ECE type-approved, and thanks to plug-and-play installation, no remapping is required.
