General Description

This is a newly developed titanium-muffler/silencer with an embossed surface for additional strength and durability. A weight saving of 32% (1.3 kg) compared to the standard system, a deep sound, throttle response, and aesthetics are all aspects that engineers focused on during development. The muffler/silencer consists of a high-grade titanium outer sleeve and is fitted with a carbon fibre end cap and a high-grade stainless steel link pipe, an internal muffler/silencer structure, and a heat shield. Compared to a standard exhaust, a power, performance increase of 0.3 kW (0.4 hp) at 8,750 rpm and a torque increase of 0.3 Nm at 5,000 rpm were measured and tested on the Akrapovič dyno. Plug-and-play installation means no remapping is required. It meets the EC/ECE type approval Euro5+, the new regulation from 2024. The previous regulation, Euro5, was valid until 31 December 2023.

For a further upgrade of the Slip-On Line (Titanium), a carbon fibre heat shield is available as special accessories, as is a header set for riders who want more power, performance and a racing sound. Installation of the header set will invalidate the EC/ECE type approval for the Slip-On Line (Titanium).
