General description
This product is a brand-new complete under-belly exhaust system, crafted from high-grade stainless steel and featuring a handcrafted honeycomb carbon fibre cover for exhaust protection, echoing Akrapovič's racing DNA. The cover completes the design and features a red and white Akrapovič logo.This complete exhaust system is delivered as a single unit with the catalyst in the header. High-end technology was used in shaping the exhaust to integrate the system into the lines of the motorcycle. The weight has been reduced by 28.6% (2.2 kg) compared to the stock system.
During the development phase, engineers focused on optimal throttle response and power, performance, resulting in a power, performance increase of 0.8 kW (1.1 hp) at 9,200 rpm and a torque increase of 0.6 Nm at 8,500 rpm compared to a Yamaha MT-07 with a stock exhaust system, confirmed on the in-house dyno. It delivers a deep and sporty sound from the parallel-twin engine.
This product is Euro 5+ compliant and EC/ECE type-approved, easy to connect, and requires no remapping. The system fits in combination with the original Yamaha center stand and engine protection bars.
