General description

This product is a brand-new under-belly complete exhaust system made from high-grade stainless steel with a hand-crafted carbon fibre heat shield. The honeycomb-shaped exhaust shield evokes Akrapovič's racing DNA. The shield completes the design and bears the Akrapovič logo in red and white.

The complete exhaust system is supplied as a single unit with an catalyst integrated into the headers. State-of-the-art technology was used in shaping the exhaust to optimally integrate the system into the lines of the motorcycle. The weight has been reduced by 50.9% (1.4 kg) compared to the stock system.

During the development phase, engineers focused on optimal throttle response and increased power, performance. This led to an power, performance increase of 0.8 kW (1.1 hp) at 8200 rpm and a torque increase of 0.8 Nm at 7900 rpm compared to a Honda CBR650R with a stock exhaust system. The values were confirmed on the in-house power, performance test bench. The engine gains a rich and sporty sound.

This product is suitable for the electronic clutch version and has type-approval for the 35 kW models.

It complies with the Euro 5+ standard and is EC/ECE type-approved. Installation is plug-and-play; no ECU remapping is required.

This exhaust system is not compatible with the original Honda motorcycle fairing for the CB650R.
