General Description
Inspired by the concept presented at EICMA in 2024, this exhaust has been designed to integrate seamlessly into the lines of the motorcycle. It is crafted from a single piece of high-grade stainless steel and shaped using state-of-the-art technology, with the catalyst welded into the muffler/silencer. It is completed by two handcrafted carbon covers, which include a double outlet with a honeycomb exhaust protector and a red and white Akrapovič logo.It is easy to connect and use without remapping. During development, the focus was on optimal throttle response and power, performance, resulting in a power, performance increase of 0.3 kW (0.4 hp) at 8,000 rpm and a torque increase of 0.7 Nm at 8,000 rpm compared to a Yamaha Tracer 9 with a stock exhaust system, tested on Akrapovič's in-house dyno. Weight has been reduced by 13.2% (1.0 kg) compared to the stock exhaust system. This full system delivers a deep and sporty sound, is EC/ECE type-approved, and Euro 5+ compliant.
It has been designed to be mounted also in combination with side panniers and the original Yamaha-center stand.
