General Description
Inspired by the concept shown at EICMA 2024, this exhaust has been designed to integrate seamlessly into the lines of the motorcycle. It is crafted in one piece from high-quality stainless steel and shaped using high-end technology, with the catalyst welded inside the muffler/silencer. The catalyst is welded inside the muffler/silencer. It features a handcrafted carbon fibre cover enclosing the outlet with a honeycomb exhaust protector and an Akrapovič logo in red and white.The exhaust can be installed via plug-and-play, with no mapping required. Development focused on optimal throttle response and power, performance, resulting in a power, performance increase of 1.8 kW (2.5 hp) at 9,500 rpm and a torque increase of 1.4 Nm at 5,500 rpm compared to a Suzuki GSX-8S with a stock exhaust system, tested on the in-house Akrapovič dyno. The weight is 29.1% (2.2 kg) lighter than the stock exhaust system. This exhaust system delivers a deep and sporty sound, is EC/ECE type-approved, and complies with the Euro 5+ standard. It has been designed to be fitted in combination with the original Suzuki soft-side panniers.
