General Description
The exhaust consists of a lightweight carbon fibre muffler/silencer sleeve, combined with stainless steel link pipes and headers, and a titanium end cap, to create a system that is 2.2 kg (31.0%) lighter than the stock system. The new design features a shorter muffler/silencer for a sportier look and exits on the side of the motorcycle. The power, performance increases by 3.3 kW (4.5 HP) at 9,600 rotation, turn per minute in comparison between an MT-09 with a Racing Line (Carbon) exhaust and a stock exhaust system. The sporty racing sound is perfectly tuned to the engine. It is designed for use on racetracks and closed circuits.The exhaust system is compatible with Yamaha hard cases and center stand accessories.
When installing the Racing Line (Carbon) exhaust system, the engine warning light will illuminate, so an ECU re-mapping is required.
