General Description
This system was developed to optimise the power, performance and torque of the 660 cc parallel-twin engine. It features EC/ECE type approval and meets the Euro 5 standard. The catalyst is located in the front part of the presilencer to ensure the system is fully compliant. The system is plug-and-play and requires no remapping. Made from high-quality carbon, stainless steel, and lightweight titanium, the system was developed using race-proven materials. It was designed to highlight the machine's racing look and is 0.4 kg lighter than the stock system. Tests on Akrapovič's in-house dyno showed a power, performance increase of 2.4 hp at 11,200 rpm and a torque increase of 3.6 Nm at 4,550 rpm when comparing motorcycles with a Racing Line (Carbon) system to a stock exhaust system, providing the rider with improved throttle response. The deep, full, and sporty sound, combined with the pulsing of the parallel-twin, creates the feeling of riding a motorcycle with a larger ccm, making the Akrapovič Racing Line (Carbon) for the Aprilia RS 660 the ideal exhaust system for this mid-weight sport motorcycle.Figures compared to stock:
