General Description

This product is made from sandblasted 25mm titanium tubes, offering lower weight and better corrosion resistance. It is approx. 40% lighter than comparable stainless steel versions, yet provides the same high-strength mechanical properties. Weighing 3.02 kg, it is one of the lightest protection bar sets on the market for the BMW R 1300 GS / R 1300 GS Adventure. The construction is designed to protect the motorcycle and is partly connected to the chassis to distribute impacts. It is designed to integrate with the motorcycle's components and has been extensively tested in numerous trials and deformation analyses. Developed with Akrapovič's attention to detail, the protection bar set does not restrict the lean angle and complies with ABE regulations.

2.5 mm thick carbon fibre protective elements ensure structural strength and allow the end-user to replace these parts in case of damage. The set is precisely TIG-welded and equipped with laser-cut and finely machined 10mm flanges to ensure a perfect fit and strength. The set features an engraved Akrapovič logo, clearly showing the word Titanium to emphasise the use of this material. The protection bar set offers the option to attach additional bags and fog lights or head light from BMW and other manufacturers to the brackets.
