General description

Piega R aluminium forged rim (for race track use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is designed for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A highly competitive set of wheels which – compared to most commonly used and older designs of forged rims – offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.

The Piega R series, made from a single casting, impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain sprocket and brake disc are each matched to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to minimising the weight. The wheels can undergo a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swing arms).

All necessary components are included in the set.

- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrierr, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swing arm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the rim and hub areas can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both front and rear wheel can be optionally equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is also available for single-sided swing arms, of course.
