Electronic restriction to 35 kW for Euro 5 motorcycles:
With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more attractive for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and twice the output power, performance of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one hand, legal regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.

From the outset, alpha Technik has shaped the development of power, performance modifications for new Euro 5 vehicles according to currently valid guidelines. Since the launch of the protected MCR restriction modules in 2016, we have offered you and your customers reliable technology of the highest standard at an affordable price.

The latest version makes restriction even easier, faster, and more convenient for “Ride by wire” vehicles. These vehicles can now be reliably reduced to 35 kW without the additional restriction plates (*) previously used. The newly developed control technology of the modules ensures the correct ratio of gas and air at all times.

The redundancy required by law is, of course, met, as is electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Workshop time for installing the restriction is significantly reduced; installation is quicker and very easy to carry out.
A major advantage of the MCR restriction for bikers remains the complete number-plate bracket of the rotation angle at the throttle twist grip – every movement towards full throttle provides propulsion!
