MCK35 - Electronic power, performance reduction to 35 kW for Euro 5 motorcycles:
With alpha Technik restrictor kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more appealing for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output power of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive know-how goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust emission, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, maintaining optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.

From the outset, alpha Technik has shaped the development of power, performance modifications for new Euro 4 and Euro 5 vehicles according to currently valid guidelines. Since the launch of the protected MCR restrictor modules in 2016, we have offered you and your customers reliable, high-level technology at an affordable price.

The latest version makes restricting "ride-by-wire" vehicles even easier, faster, and more convenient. These vehicles can now be safely reduced to 35 kW without the additional restrictor plates (*) previously used. The newly developed control technology of the modules ensures the correct gas-to-air ratio at all times.

The redundancy required by law is naturally met, as is electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Workshop time for fitting the restrictor is significantly reduced; installation is faster and very easy to carry out.
A major advantage of the MCR restrictor for bikers remains the complete number-plate bracket of the twist grip angle at the throttle twist grip – every movement towards full throttle provides propulsion!

(*) For Euro 5 vehicles with conventional throttle cables to the throttle bodies, the additional restrictor plates remain an indispensable component for correct mixture composition – this prevents leaning out with reduced gas supply but fully open throttle bodies.
