Electronic restriction to 35 kW for Euro 5 motorcycles:
With alpha Technik's restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more attractive for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original power output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

A great deal of expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Essential factors must be considered: on one side are the legal requirements, such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other side, the maintenance of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery, remaining as unchanged as possible.

From the outset, alpha Technik has shaped the development of power, performance modifications for new Euro 5 vehicles according to currently valid directives. Since the launch of the protected MCR restriction modules in 2016, we have offered you and your customers reliable technology at the highest level at an affordable price.

The latest version makes restriction for "Ride by wire" vehicles even easier, faster, and more comfortable. These vehicles can now be reduced to 35 kW with absolute operational safety without the previously used additional throttle plates (*). The newly developed control technology of the modules always ensures the correct ratio of gas and air.

The redundancy required by law is naturally met, as is electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
The workshop time for the installation of the restriction is significantly reduced; installation is quicker and very easy to carry out.
A major advantage of the MCR restriction for bikers remains the complete number-plate bracket of the rotation angle at the throttle twist grip – every movement towards full throttle provides propulsion!

(*) For Euro 5 vehicles with conventional throttle cables to the throttle bodies, the additional throttle plates remain an indispensable component for correct mixture composition – this prevents leaning out with reduced gas supply but fully open throttle valves.
