This front fender for the BMW R 1250 GS from 2019 onwards has been specially developed for GS conversions with 17-inch wheels. It is supplied with special stainless steel brackets and only fits in conjunction with 17-inch wheels.This product replaces the original component using the original mounting points. The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured completely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, to protect against environmental influences, coated with a clear plastic finish. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also clearly accentuates the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
