fork fork oil seals
A clear sign of worn fork oil seals is oily fork stanchions. Normal wear and tear, but especially barely visible grains of sand, dust, and dirt particles, destroy the oil seals. Oil slowly leaks out, can get onto the brake discs and represents an unnecessary risk factor. Even more critical is a front fork that no longer functions correctly, with diminishing damping. New fork oil seals restore perfect sealing. Beforehand, the polished fork stanchions should be checked for damage.
