This exhaust has been developed from scratch and manufactured from lightweight, race-proven materials. The muffler/silencer’s carbon fibre outer sleeve, heat shield, and clamp, titanium end cap, stainless steel header, resonator, and link pipe, as well as the black-coated aluminium muffler/silencer bracket, allow for a weight saving of 39.6% (3.2 kg) compared to the stock exhaust. The alternative routing of the exhaust on the right side of the machine (the standard version runs under the motorcycle) provides a more racing-oriented look, and the carbon fibre heat shield offers heat protection and an attractive finish. Compared to a Suzuki GSX-8S equipped with the stock exhaust system, the exhaust offers a power, performance and torque increase of 4.7 kW (6.4 hp) at 9,200 rpm and 4.7 Nm at 7,650 rpm respectively, as measured on the Akrapovič dyno.The exhaust features a resonator in the link pipe, offering the rider a unique sound experience with a fast and lively tone, without compromising power, performance. The plug-and-play installation means no mapping is required.
This exhaust system is compatible with the original Suzuki pannier set.
