Sporty Supermoto feeling: With this in-house development from alpha Technik, your Honda Africa Twin from model year 2015 gains a sportier appearance and more agile handling.The high-quality PVM light alloy wheels set new standards for the handling of your Africa Twin. Due to the weight saving and the modified geometry of the motorcycle, corners can be taken even tighter and faster.
Choose from a variety of street or sport tyres in 17 inch format (no tire restriction in the parts certificate).
PVM Conversion Kit tire sizes:
front 120/70 ZR17 (Compared to original: 90/90-21)
rear 180/55 ZR17 (Compared to original: 150/70 R18)
PVM Conversion Kit rim sizes:
front 3.5 x 17 inch (Compared to original: 2.15 x 21 inch)
rear 5.5 x 17 inch (Compared to original: 4.00 x 18 inch)
Included in the scope of delivery:
- PVM aluminium forged wheels 3V design front (3.5 x 17 inch) and rear (5.5 x 17 inch)
- ABS sensor rings front and rear
- Carbon front fender with matte carbon side panels to protect the fork slider tubes from stone chips
- Aluminium rear sprocket (40 teeth)
- Anodised aluminium chainguard
- HEL Performance braided brake line front including new sealing ring (connecting line between the two front brake calipers and line from the brake caliper to the triple clamp)
Naturally, all safety-relevant functions are taken into account with the conversion. The ABS sensor rings front and rear are adjusted to maintain speedometer and ABS functions due to the wheel size difference.
The rim have undergone extensive quality tests. Testing included strength and the effects of road salt during winter use.
The high-quality PVM aluminium angle valves are also included in the scope of delivery.
Supplied with a certificate and all necessary conversion parts, the rim can be easily registered in the vehicle documents.
