General Description

The catalytic converter is a metal honeycomb structure that contains precious metals (palladium, rhodium and platinum) on its surface. These metals convert toxic carbon monoxide and unburnt hydrocarbons in the exhaust gases into non-toxic carbon dioxide and water vapour.
