Sporty Supermoto feeling: Your Yamaha Ténéré 700 from model year 2019 receives a sportier appearance and more agile handling with this in-house development from alpha Technik.The high-quality light alloy wheels from OZ MOTORBIKE set new standards for the handling of your Ténéré 700. Thanks to the weight saving and the altered geometry of the motorcycle, corners can be taken even tighter and faster.
The weight saving compared to the standard wheels is approximately -1kg on the front wheel and approximately -3kg on the rear wheel. Choose from a variety of street or sport tyres in 17 inch format (no tire restriction in the parts certificate).
OZ Conversion Kit tire sizes:
front 120/70 ZR17 (Comparison to Original: 90/90 R21)
rear 180/55 ZR17 (Comparison to Original: 150/70 R18)
OZ Conversion Kit rim sizes:
front 3.5 x 17 inches (Comparison to Original: 1.85 x 21 inches)
rear 5.5 x 17 inches (Comparison to Original: 4.00 x 18 inches)
The wheel conversion results in a seat height reduction of approximately 30mm.
Scope of delivery includes:
- OZ aluminium forged wheels Piega front (3.5 x 17 inches) and rear (5.5 x 17 inches)
- ABS sensor rings front and rear
- Carbon mudguard with matt carbon side panels to protect the fork slider tubes from stone chips
- rear sprocket made of aluminium (tooth count as OEM)
- chainguard made of anodised aluminium
- HEL Performance braided steel brake line front incl. new sealing rings (connecting line between the two front brake calipers and line from the brake caliper to the triple clamp)
- Stainless steel side stand shortening adapter for a safe and secure stand
Of course, all safety-relevant functions are taken into account with the conversion. The ABS sensor rings front and rear are adapted to maintain speedometer and ABS functions due to the wheel size difference.
The rim have undergone extensive quality checks. Tests included strength and the effects of road salt during winter use.
The high-quality OZ MOTORBIKE aluminium angle valves are also included in the scope of delivery.
Delivered with a certificate and all necessary conversion parts, the rim can be easily entered into the vehicle documents
