With the Performance Kit, customers receive a power, performance boost through fine-tuning of the OEM engine control unit of the Kawasaki Z125 and Ninja 125 and a corresponding TÜV certificate for registration in the vehicle documents.
The two lightweight motorcycles are not the most powerful vehicles in their segment and are limited to a design-related top speed of 113 km/h. These characteristics are quickly noticed by young customers and make competitor vehicles appear attractive to teenagers.
For this reason, we have worked on improving vehicle performance. With the optimisation of the engine management software in the original control unit, we have achieved our goal. An adaptation of the software to European conditions and requirements leads to an optimised power, performance curve.
The optimisation is carried out by carefully adjusting the parameters in the engine control unit, without any intervention in the mechanics or electrics of the vehicle.
The Performance Kit from alpha Technik is supplied with a TÜV parts certificate and can therefore be officially used on public street by means of a modification inspection.
Installation is quick and easy. Remove the engine control unit and send it to our technical support in Saal*.
You will then immediately receive your modified device including the parts certificate back.
