alpha Technik takes over traditional brand LSL

alpha Technik GmbH & Co. KG announces that it is immediately taking over the renowned brand LSL from Paaschburg & Wunderlich GmbH. With this strategic decision, alpha Technik is expanding its product portfolio in the field of high-quality motorcycle and scooter accessories, while also strengthening its own-brand expertise.

LSL, founded in April 1984 by vehicle technology engineer Jochen Schmitz-Linkweiler, has stood for technically sophisticated and particularly durable accessory solutions in the two-wheeler sector for over four decades. The LSL brand enjoys the highest reputation in the market – not least due to:

  • well-engineered designs
  • outstanding quality
  • reliable products
  • price stability
  • passionate development work

These characteristics perfectly match the philosophy of alpha Technik. It is taking over the entire existing stock, all brand and product rights, as well as the ongoing developments of the LSL product range. The integration into the existing company will be implemented in the coming weeks. It is planned to continue offering a large part of the proven LSL products and to specifically further develop them. This way, the German market will retain a premium brand for technical motorcycle accessories.

“With the acquisition of LSL, we are opening a new chapter and strengthening our commitment to the development and sales of our own products,” says Manuel Schweiger from the management of alpha Technik. “We have specifically expanded our team to reliably meet the demands of our customers – especially fast delivery and timely developments for current motorcycle models.”

The former founder and inventor of the LSL brand, Jochen Schmitz-Linkweiler, will support product development and brand integration.
Jochen Schmitz-Linkweiler on the acquisition: “With alpha Technik, a company has taken over the brand that is perfectly suited to lead LSL products into the future with their established quality. I am pleased that a large part of the product range is to be retained, and I am fully committed to supporting its further development.”

With this acquisition, alpha Technik once again positions itself as a powerful partner for specialist retailers and two-wheeler enthusiasts. Work is in full swing to ensure that the first parts can leave the warehouse for customer bikes in the coming weeks. Further information on this will be available in the near future.
